Track Record

Cal Dive International (Cal Dive) has provided traditional diving services on the continental shelf and inland waters of the Gulf of Mexico since 1975. The company has developed a solid and well-respected reputation in the fields of saturation, gas and surface air diving construction and inspection. Today, with Cal Dive International's recent marine construction acquisitions, the company has added extensive marine construction experience to its operations as well.
In recent years, Cal Dive and other major competitors have diversified and expanded services to meet the challenges of the Outer Continental Shelf. What separates Cal Dive from its competitors is that the company never lost focus on the market needs of the owners and operators of shelf properties. While competitors were downsizing their diving divisions,
Cal Dive continued to expand. With recent acquisitions, Cal Dive has grown into one of the largest marine diving contracting company in the world. With the largest diversified fleet of dive support vessels, the largest diving corps, and the largest array of diving equipment in the world, Cal Dive leads the industry delivering quality services, to the Gulf of Mexico and worldwide.
Whether it is a quick response, an emergency, day rate call out or large lump sum (turnkey) projects requiring extensive planning, estimating and project management support, Cal Dive is more than qualified for the task at hand.
Since 2005, Cal Dive has substantially increased the size of its fleet and expanded its operating capabilities on the OCS through strategic acquisitions from Acergy US Inc., Torch Offshore, Inc., Horizon Offshore and in international markets with the acquisition of Fraser Diving (Singapore). Upon closing all of these transactions, we added a total of 16 vessels, including three saturation diving vessels, ten portable saturations diving systems, 10 construction barges, 2 multi-support vessels, and significant other diving equipment to our fleet. |
